Denomination: Assemblies of God
Mission Statement
To reach the lost, raise disciples and revolutionise our world.
The Church I See
I see the power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit exalting this Church to be the head and not the tail. I see this Church so filled with love and power that it influences and overtakes every facet of society including government, law, education, business, family and the arts. I see this Church committed to preaching and teaching the Word of God with miraculous signs and wonders following. I see this church with people standing in line waiting to get in.
I see this Church as an army, whose singers go out first and musicians right behind creating praise and worship as they go. The Lord’s righteousness shall go before them and the Lord’s glory shall be their rear guard. I see powerfully anointed Leaders, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers working together, complimenting one another, equipping this Church body for the work of the
ministry to the whole earth.
I see this Church gathering in the end time harvest by a deliberate, unrelenting, well planned, aggressive assault on the kingdom of darkness. I see men and women compelled by God to give financially and materially from all over the world to fund the Lord’s vision for the end time. I see television, radio and computer technology spreading the fire of God’s Word.
I see open air crusades so large that multiple millions will come to salvation at one time. I see this Church feeding the hungry and the poor, giving water to those that thirst, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, caring for the sick and maimed and visiting and ministering to those in prison here and all over the earth.
I see this Church whose glorious head is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, bought and washed in His own Holy blood, filled and empowered by His own Holy Spirit, living by the power of His own Holy Word.
I see this Church joyfully and willingly bowing their knee to Jesus and declaring “Jesus Christ is Lord”. I see this Church taking up their cross daily, a church who knows no compromise, a church who would lay down their lives for the Gospel’s sake.
Finally I see a multicultural Church from every tribe and language and people and nation, made by God as Kings and Priests forever to serve and worship our God around the Lord’s majestic throne and they shall reign forever and ever.
