From a few families of believers meeting in the home, Abundant Life Fellowship Church was eventually birthed in 1976 under the unction of the Holy Spirit and the leadership of Bishop Matthew Ferguson. For the past three decades numerous believers have been trained and developed through this local fellowship. In November 2004, Abundant Life Fellowship completed the first phase of its new worship center. This state of the art facility houses in excess of 2,500 seats. It was designed to service not only the local body of believer, but the entire community of Christians within the metropolitan area. Bishop Matthew Ferguson holds a master’s degree in education from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Doctorate in Theology . As an ordained minister with over 40 years of experience, he has impacted the lives of thousands of people throughout the region and across the globe.
We believe that God, the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One. We believe and confess that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose again, thus becoming our Eternal Savior. We practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and the interpretation of tongues. We believe in being baptized with the understanding that in doing so we are a new creation. Abundant Life Fellowship Church welcomes the freedom to praise and worship our Lord, Jesus Christ.
