Welcome

Acton Baptist Church was built in 1865.

We are an enthusiastic and multi-cultural family church. Our worship is a good mix of modern and traditional and our bible teaching programme encourages us to pursue a deeper spiritual relationship and become the people we were made to be.

We have a thriving childrens work which offers weekly group activities for children from 3 up to 11 and a youth group for teenagers.

Our Purpose as a Church

We exist as a Church to introduce people to Jesus and the love of His family.

Together we want to worship and discover more about God so that we can serve Him and the community.

This mission statement reflects the five New Testament purposes for the Church:

1 Warmer through Fellowship

2 Deeper through Discipleship

3 Stronger through Worship

4 Broader through Ministry

5 Larger through Evangelism

Service Times

Services

Services are held in the main Church at 10.30am every Sunday morning and finishes usually around midday. During the service there will be time for prayer, singing and listening to a talk based on a bible passage.

Junior church, crèche for younger children and youth activities take part during the morning service.
