A contemporary Christian Church that believes our faith brings transformation of individuals, communities and culture.
Everyone is welcome - if you’re an established Christian, new to faith, exploring or a determined atheist.
Our Vision
Transforming Lives, Communities and Culture
We see Barton Church as a diverse community on a united mission growing together in following Jesus. As we have prayed and sought God, he has led us to focus on four vision statements to help achieve this goal.
Sunday Gatherings
We see Barton as a community where Sundays are evidently transforming people, as we experience God ministering to us through our worship services.
Everyday Mission
We see Barton as a community with increased engagement of our attenders and members in the everyday mission of the church.
Pastoral Care
We see Barton as a community where people are better cared for and supported through an effective and co-ordinated pastoral strategy.
Multisite Church
We see Barton as a community that is numerically growing at both sites and is beginning to prepare for a third location.
Service Times
Our Canterbury Sunday service takes place at Canterbury College and starts at 10:30am.
From 10am we run our Welcome Café, so come early and enjoy a drink and doughnuts.
