How often do you have the opportunity to know the heartbeat of a church before you even step through the doors? Blessed Hope realizes that usually never happens, but we’ve decided it should be an option. The word “exposed” simply means “open to view”. If you think about it, visiting a church can be really superficial because you only see the surface. The best you can do is examine the surface. However, we thought it would be awesome to reverse that trend, to make Blessed Hope “open to view” and show you what exists both on and below the surface. It is our prayer that by exposing Blessed Hope we will give you a greater understanding of why we are who we are, and will also give the future visit we hope you make a lot more substance.

Blessed Hope exists to bring people into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, to draw them into a Christ-centered community, and to help them grow in their faith. That’s what drives every decision we make and guides every conversation we have..

We believe everyone is on a spiritual journey. We want to walk with people on their journey to take them from being a Christ seeker to being a Christ follower. We encourage attenders to keep walking in these five areas:

Grace

Receiving, living in, and sharing God’s grace.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

Growth

Growing in wisdom, character and obedience.

“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,” Ephesians 4:15

Group

Experiencing biblically-functioning community with others.

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles ' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42

Gifts

Serving God and others with spiritual gifts.

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Generosity

Generously responding to God by supporting the needs of the church, community, and world.

“And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.” Acts 2:44-4
