Calvary Chapel started as a small wednesday night Bible study at Steve and Sarah Fishers home. Out growing Steve and Sarah's home and a need for A bible based church in the Albany area, Pastor Chris and his wife Donna soon opened up their games room for the first official Calvary Chapel Sunday morning service in September 1995.
Calvary has since grown into a Large congregation with Solid Bible teaching and awesome Contemporary Worship. It mainly consist's of young families and Youth from many different backgrounds. Calvary embraces new technologies to connect with the culture while staying rock solid with Biblical Teaching.
Calvary Chapel Albany's Mission is to Teach the Word in Simplicity and Truth! To Equip it's congregation with the biblical knowledge and to obey Jesus commandment to preach the Gospel to every creature and Nation.... We aspire to be a church that worship's Jesus in spirit and in Truth, Our music is modern and alive ! Calvary Chapel is active in it's community holding Outdoor Festivals such as Strawberry Jam , Showing Movies , Conferences , Bringing in Special Guest Speakers and offering Community services to the needy in our local area.
