Who we are
We believe in Christ, who has beaten death
We believe that Christ isn’t fanciful fiction or historical hyperbole. He wasn’t just a man on earth, but God who, for a while, walked among His creation as a man. Jesus Christ’s perfection, death, and resurrection are well documented… which means His triumph over death and sin for our sakes is real. And so we try to follow His example in our day to day life because we are passionate about our saviour. And because thanks to Him, there’s always a Brand New Day.
We are a group of ordinary people of all ages, cultures and walks of life
We aren’t perfect! We are bound together as a church by the simple fact that we love our amazing God, and live in His amazing grace.
We love to read the Bible
We believe it is the Word of God and so we use it as our guide, doing our best to follow its teachings.
Our group is independent
We don’t have a central headquarters in another place.
We don’t have a creed book.
We believe God gives each church the responsibility and privilege of working out how to live like Christ.
We know that God loves peace and unity
And so we want to be unified with other Christian groups in Canberra.
