Cornerstone Church ( formally Gospel Hall Evangelical Church ) has been serving the people of Bridlington for over 70 years , we are a family church providing activities for all ages and everyone is welcome. Our Sunday morning service is warm and friendly, we enjoy modern worship songs and some of the more traditional hymns. Our emphasis is on practical Bible based ministry that seeks to build the church and make disciples.
We are committed to reaching out into our community with the good news of Jesus in a variety of ways, to enable young and old alike, to come into a living relationship with Jesus Christ, to discover the reality of forgiveness and the power to live a new life that brings glory to God.
What we believe.
We believe in the God who created heaven and earth, who exists as God the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit, and that the Bible is the true and inspired word of God. We believe that God created us to love and glorify him and to demonstrate our love for each other.
We believe that salvation and a relationship with God is based on his grace, a belief that Jesus Christ died in order to save us from our sins. We believe that we should share the good news of salvation with all those who do not know it.
We believe that when we die our souls will continue in eternity, in communion with him if we have accepted Christ and what he has done for us.
