East Street Baptist Church is an independent fellowship with an emphasis on biblical preaching. The Sunday morning service at 11.15am centres on evangelistic gospel preaching while the evening service at 6.30pm provides teaching to help Christians grow in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Refreshments are available after the services. Meetings for children and young people are run at various times on Friday evenings (see Main Church Activities). Our midweek prayer meeting and Bible study is on Wednesdays at 7.30pm when we have an informal discussion on a passage of the Bible.
