The Edmonton Chinese Baptist Church was established in 1974 as a Southern Baptist Convention mission. At that time, we held worship at the basement of Dovercourt Baptist Church. We then became a registered body in September 1977. We purchased our first building at 10802 – 93 Street in November 1982. Around 1994, the growing church needed to find more space and by January 1995, we moved to the present building at 11112 – 109 Aveune. Seeing the need to meet the ever changing congregation, an English speaking fellowship was born.
Our current English Pastor is Rev. Brian Lum.
We are a culturally and racially diverse congregation whose mission is to share God’s love and help others to fulfill Christ’s purpose for their lives.
We are associated with the Midwest Baptist Association of the Canadian National Baptist Convention.
Service Times
Sunday Worship: 9:15am – 10:30am
Sunday School: 11:00am – 12:15pm
At 9:15 am on Sunday mornings, we gathers in our sanctuary for a quick fellowship time and then follow by the worship service around 9:30 am.
We sing and pray to express our heartfelt adoration of God, and our hearts are changed as we hear from God through Bible reading and the preaching of His Word. Generally, worship service is about 45-60 minutes.
