Worship at Lutheran Church of the Cross takes place on Sunday mornings at 10 am. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first & third Sundays of each month. Lay persons serve during worship as readers, communion assistants, ushers, acolytes and assisting minister. Children and youth are encouraged to volunteer and serve along with adults.Sunday School at Church of the Cross is for children age 3 through Grade 12. The children and youth gather first in the nave with their parents, and following the 'Children's Message', the classes leave and go to SS class. Then they go to their classes for stories, crafts, reading, and talking about our Christian faith. They learn about Jesus, and about how to show Jesus' love in their daily lives. Music at Lutheran Church of the Cross is an exciting part of our congregational life. The main purpose of our music is to enrich our worship. We also offer people of all ages musical opportunities to learn more about the faith, to improve their musical skills, to enjoy Christian fellowship in small groups, and to have a lot of fun, as well as to serve.Lutheran Church of the Cross is a congregation that is friendly & welcoming.
