As we step into 2025, we commit to consecrate the year by giving the first ten days as a First Fruit offering to the Lord. The number ten in Scripture symbolizes obedience, as seen in the Ten Commandments and the principle of the tithe. First Fruits is not just a symbolic gesture—it is a Biblical principle and practice.
For Israel, offering First Fruits represented putting God first in every area of life. This timeless act of worship reminds us of God's provision and our devotion to Him. The Scriptures call us to honor God with the "first" of all He has given us (Exodus 23:14-16; Numbers 18:12-13; Numbers 28:26; Deuteronomy 26:1-11; Jeremiah 2:3), setting the tone for a blessed and fruitful year.
