Denomination: Evangelical Lutheran
Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church located in the small city of Meriden, Connecticut. Immanuel is a warm and welcoming community filled with diverse members of many different ages from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you are single, married or divorced, whether you are parent, a grandparent, or have no children at all, whether you are a protestant, a catholic or not even a Christian at all, all are welcome in our community.
Immanuel is also a work in progress. By that we mean that it is not ever complete and is always changing and growing. We believe that this keeps us from becoming to static, and allows us to be flexible in a world that continues to present unique opportunities to share God's love and God's grace with our neighbors.
We are continually grateful for the many ways that God is working within our community and hopeful that we may continue to be a witness to the good news of Jesus Christ in a world that often seems so desperate for good news.
We would love to have you come and worship with us! Our worship begins on Sundays at 9:45am and we look forward to meeting you. Until then we invite you to explore the rest of the site in order to get to know us a little better.
Have a great day and may the peace of Christ be with you always.
