Welcome to Oasis Christian Centre, Livingston’s Elim Church
We are a family Church open to everyone interested in enquiring about the Christian faith and way of life. We believe we are a part of the universal Church which represents the Lord Jesus Christ in our world. Our flavour is Evangelical and Pentecostal. Our worship is joyful and sincere. Our welcome is warm and openhearted.
Our Beliefs
We accept the veracity of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. Salvation is through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is also acknowledged as the healer of the body and the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit, a present day experience for all believers. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the Church today and that those who are born of the Holy Spirit should manifest the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We also believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ to receive to Himself the Church and to reign in power and glory.
Service Times
Family Worship Service
Sundays 10.30am – 12 noon
The first half hour is taken up with corporate worship singing and prayer. This is followed every second Sunday with a communion. After the children leave for their Sunday School we have a sermon and prayer. All are invited for fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits after the service
