Denomination: Evangelical Lutheran
Our vision
Our vision is to be a beacon of faith and service in our community. We strive to become spiritually equipped (and evolving) to participate in fulfilling Christ's mission to the world.
Our core values
We are here for you as we serve God, our community, and one another.
We value our children, your children, and spiritual development and growth for all ages.
We value music and its contribution to worship--we believe music can transcend all faiths.
We welcome diversity and we welcome people of all faiths.
We value our Lutheran heritage and the faith of unconditional love and grace for all.
We are a proud part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
The ELCA is one of the largest Christian denominations in the U.S., with almost 4 million members in nearly 10,000 congregations nationwide. We are a church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person--questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God's work in Christ's name for the life of the world.
What do Lutherans believe?
We believe in one God who is revealed in three expressions—creator, savior, and sustainer of all life.
We accept the Bible as the inspired word of God’s love.
We teach that all persons are estranged from God and we are ultimately saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We define the church as the fellowship of believers. The church is essential to
Christian life and spiritual growth.
We celebrate two holy acts as the God-given means for enriching our lives with grace — these are Holy Baptism and Communion.
We do not live according to a formula of “do’s and don’ts” but in the freedom of God’s love and forgiveness.
