We are a community of Christ followers located here in the beautiful area of the South Kaipara Harbour. Our local township of Parakai is world famous in New Zealand for its hot water mineral springs.
River Valley Baptist was formed in 2000 by a small group of believers joining together and praying. We have grown since those early days to being a very active church of around 100 people.

Service Times
Relationships are important to us and getting together on Sunday mornings at 10 am means we can connect with God and each other.
A typical Sunday gathering has elements of singing, teaching and prayer. You might like to listen to some of the teaching that is given by checking out our media page.
Children are involved in the first 15 minutes before going out to a program specially designed for them.
At the end of each term our children lead the service.
Our meeting finishes around 11:15 am and we share in a cup of coffee or tea.
