St James welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Tong Village area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St James at Tong Village, West Yorkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St James is to make an impact for God, here in Tong Village, West Yorkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Takes place every week - but on the second Sunday of each month it takes place at St. Christopher's Holme Wood - one of the other churches in the parish.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes
4 pm Evening Worship
This worship service takes place each week - with the following programme:
1st Sunday Family Worship
2nd Sunday Holy Communion
3rd Sunday Evening Worship
4th Sunday Evening Prayer
Every Sunday at 4:00 PM for 1 hour
