St Margaret welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Halstead area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Margaret at Halstead, Kent is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Margaret is to make an impact for God, here in Halstead, Kent by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Holy Communion
A traditional said service of Holy Communion in a quieter and more reflective atmosphere.
Every first Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
Choral Matins
A traditional service of Morning Prayer with hymns, psalms, canticles and prayers structured around two Bible readings. The worship is led by the Choir.
Every second Sunday at 9:00 AM for ¾ hour
Family Service
A short, informal service tailored for all ages, from toddlers to older people. A screen is used for the words of lively traditional and modern hymns and illustrated talks. This is the service most suitable for children, lasting about 45 minutes. We encourage baptisms to take place at this service. A crèche is provided.
Every first Sunday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour
Family Communion
A modern language service of Communion with crèche facilities for pre-schoolers and activities for school aged children.
Every third Sunday at 10:30 AM for ¾ hour
