St Michael the Archangel welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Markington area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Michael the Archangel at Markington, North Yorkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Michael the Archangel is to make an impact for God, here in Markington, North Yorkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Traditional Language Holy Communion
A traditional language Communion service.
Every first and third Sunday at 8:15 AM for 35 minutes
Traditional Language Morning Prayer
A traditional language Morning Prayer, or Matins.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 8:15 AM for 25 minutes
Family Service
An informal service intended to be accessible to all ages.
Every second Sunday at 9:30 AM for 40 minutes
Family Communion
A moderately informal communion service, often with Sunday School activities for younger children.
Every fourth Sunday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour
United Benefice Service
On 'fifth' Sundays, all five of the churches in our Benefice meet together to share worship. Unfortunately for visitors, this service rotates around the Benefice churches, so seek local guidance where possible!
Every fifth Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour
