We are a small, committed and faithful group. Our location in the City of Nelson is geographically remote from other ELCIC congregations. We work alongside the local United and Anglican churches. Our community has a regular free meal program that benefits residents of low income housing near us. Our worship is varied using a different setting in the ELW worship book each month. We have an active group of confirmed youth, but no regular Sunday School. Our pastor retired 16 months ago, we are dependent on lay leaders through the call process. We are in the process of building a new church and have been worshiping in a local school for over 2 years. Our building is at "lock-up" and we are struggling to acquire funds to finish it.
