Denomination: Grace Communion International
Grace Communion Church in Calgary is excited to be part of an international and diverse Christian fellowship of 30,000 members in 550 churches spread across almost 70 countries making up Grace Communion International.
Our Mission is: To live the Gospel and to share the Good News of what God has done through Jesus Christ.
Our Vision is: To be a Spiritually Healthy Congregation.
The city of Calgary (nicknamed Cowtown and Stampede City) has a population of 1.3 million making it Alberta’s largest city and Canada’s third largest municipality. Our small congregation seeks to be engaged in what Jesus is doing in our city in the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the Father’s mission to the world.
Christians are exhorted to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). So, our congregation seeks to respond to God’s guidance in our beliefs and practices and to grow spiritually.
Our pastor David Sheridan, serving in pastoral ministry since 1974 has a personal and congregational desire to Love the Lord, Love the Lord’s People and Love the Lost.
(Our denomination, Grace Communion International is a member of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada.)
