Denomination: Presbyterian Church
In 1912 a small Presbyterian congregation moved its manse from the tiny community of Wyncote, located a few miles west of Lingle on a railroad line still very much in use, into Lingle, one block east of Main Street on Third Street. That year next to the manse a church building was constructed. For nearly a century at 200 East Third Street there has been worship of the Lord, growth of our faith in Christ, and outreach to aid those in need, not only in Lingle and Goshen County but also into the world. So Community Presbyterian has a rich history, but we remain forward looking into a challenging future where the Holy Spirit will continue to lead and undergird the Kingdom Work we are called to undertake. We are a constituent church of the Presbytery of Wyoming, Presbyterian Church, USA.
