Denomination: Christian Church
Faithbridge is a vibrant church helping families, mending marriages, exalting Christ, and serving in practical ways within the church and throughout the community. More and more people, across all generations, are coming to worship, growing closer to God, and joining in fellowship with each other through small and large group Bible studies. Faithbridge is stronger and more focused than ever on its mission to make more and stronger disciples of Jesus Christ by being a bridge of faith to people every day.
The official launch date was March 28, 1999, with over 400 people attending that first public service at Kleb. Five months later, a second Sunday worship option was added, and a full-time Worship Pastor was hired. Additional staff was hired as the congregation continued growing rapidly, and soon an anonymous donor gave $100,000 to jump-start a land campaign. Guided by a congregation-wide prayer campaign, Faithbridge purchased the 80 acres of land on which the Klein Campus now stands. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on March 13, 2005, with plans to start worshipping in the new 55,000 square foot building by the spring of 2006.
The first service in the new building was held on Palm Sunday of 2006. The following week, over 3,000 people attended the first Easter service in the church’s new home in Klein. It wasn’t long until Faithbridge began to outgrow its new space, adding portable buildings for the increasing needs of the children’s ministry. In December 2011, we doubled our worship capacity and opened a second worship venue.
In 2015, Faithbridgers opened a second campus in The Woodlands area. Because of this new campus, all of the things that we know and love about Faithbridge is now within driving range to the families who currently live in The Woodlands, Magnolia, and Tomball – and for the thousands of families who are moving into this quickly growing area.
Both this new campus in The Woodlands and the existing Klein Campus share the same great teaching, music, and kids ministry; all of the things that makes Faithbridge unique. More importantly, all campuses continue the Faithbridge tradition of being a church of grow groups who come together to worship on Sundays.
