Denomination: Episcopal Church
We are the Episcopal branch of the body of Christ, and a member of the world wide Anglican Communion. We are an inclusive fellowship with open doors for all to come to, and know, Jesus. The symbols of our patron saint, St. David, are the daffodil, dove, and leek. So, if you are happy, peaceful, or just a little pungent, we welcome you in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
St. David's is a remarkable small country parish with a long history within the community of Barneveld, NY, located in the Town of Trenton, NY. Our parish is geographically broad with young and elderly families alike. We welcome all: singles, ages, families, and families with children. Children may attend our service, or attend our Sunday School, provided during the service. We are also proud of our Pre-K School, which is unique for a church of our size.
The rich traditions of the Episcopal Church provides for many ways in which individuals can participate in the life of our parish. We welcome the opportunity to include people where they have an active interest. Our parish community includes Eucharistic ministers, readers for scripture, prayer, acolytes, vestry members, altar guild, Sunday School, stewardship, hosting social functions, and fundraisers. Some functions require training before being placed on a schedule, but information is always available through our priest or other members of the congregation.
Coffee Hour - After every Sunday service, we join one another in our parish hall for treats and conversation. Please join us. You'll have an opportunity to meet members of our parish and learn more about St. David's.
