Denomination: Scottish Episcopal Church
St John's is a friendly, welcoming and vibrant congregation in the beautiful Morayshire town of Forres. We are part of the Diocese of Moray, Ross & Caithness of the Scottish Episcopal Church, a member of the Anglican Communion.
With a long history of worship, St John’s offers a variety of worship opportunities throughout the week. We are an active church with many welcoming, friendly groups. There is something for everyone from Sunday School and a Youth Group for the young to Book, Gardening and Sewing Groups. We have a Mothers' Union, Social Committee and other interest groups who all enjoy fellowship in each other’s company.
Opposite the award-winning Grant Park, St John’s is set in its own grounds with far-reaching park and woodland views. Within a short walk of the town centre St John’s is easily accessible and located on the main road into the heart of the town.
So, if you are visiting the Forres area you will always find a warm welcome.
