St. John the Baptist Church at Rochester, New York is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St. John the Baptist Church is to make an impact for God, here in Rochester, New York by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Schedule of Services

All services are conducted in the English language.


6:00 PM Vespers followed by individual Confessions.

Saturday Evening


9:45 AM Hours; 10:00 AM Divine Liturgy followed by fellowship and religious education.

Sunday Morning


General Confession is held on the first Saturday of the month after Vespers.

Thursday, 7:00 PM Bible Study and “Seekers Forum” held in the church hall
