St John the Evangelist at Accrington, Lancashire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St John the Evangelist is to make an impact for God, here in Accrington, Lancashire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Sunday
Said Eucharist
This service happen on 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
Every first and third Sunday at 8:30 AM for ½ hour
Service of the Word
A family-friendly service for all the family that happens on 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
Every first and third Sunday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour
Sung Eucharist
This service happens every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Monday
Parents & Toddlers
A weekly session for parents and children to meet together and play and socialise.
We do close during school holidays so please check our weekly bulletin or phone for details to Carrie on 07540481381
Every Monday at 9:30 AM for 2 hours
Wednesday
Said Eucharist
An informal, friendly mid-week service that uses the Accrington Pals (Chapel) in St John's.
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ¾ hour
