St Laurence welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Measham area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Laurence at Measham, Leicestershire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Laurence is to make an impact for God, here in Measham, Leicestershire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

This is a service following the Book of Common Prayer rite. It is followed by coffee.

Activeage
Activeage offers gentle seated exercise for the over-60s led by a qualified instructor. As well as exercise, this gorup offer a friendly time together.

Want to know more?
. Has Christmas left you puzzled and wanting to know if there is more to it? Would you like to know more about the Christian faith? Would you like to find out more about God? A chance to ask those questions about matters of the soul?
Then take the opportunity to book in for our next sessions for explorers, and for those who want to refresh what they already know. It’s also the path through to baptism and/or confirmation, though there is no demand for any commitment. You can just do the course to find out and to ask those questions that you hardly dare ask. Many who have been on this course before have found it valuable.
It will be a 6 week course starting on Wednesday 21st January at 7.30pm at Measham Vicarage. Each session will have input but how each session goes depends largely on the questions that the members of the group bring. There is some reading in between sessions.
