The Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Iver Heath area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
The Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch at Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of The Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch is to make an impact for God, here in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Holy Communion
8 am Holy Communion (BCP)
Every first and third Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour
Family Eucharist
A family friendly Eucharist for all ages.
Every first Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Eucharist with 'Living Stones', Sunday school
During the first part of the Eucharist our young people, (and parents if they wish)move into the Parish centre, for activties and stories based on the Bible readings of the day. In the second part of the service we all worship together with the whole host of heaven.
The Living Stones do not meet separately during August and remain in church during the family Eucharist.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Evening Prayer
A service of hymns and time for reflection based on the Book of Common Prayer service
Every Sunday at 6:00 PM for 50 minutes
Wednesday
Eucharist
A said Eucharist. Sometimes replaced by Morning Prayer with Extended Holy Communion. Followed by the Coffe Shop
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour
Bible Study Group
Informal group that meets to study the Bible and other Christian literature. All are welcome.This group will meet pon Wednesday afternoon from mid November.
Every Wednesday at 2:30 PM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Thursday
Service of Healing
Eucharist with special intention for the sick, with anointing & laying on of hands for those who wish. Followed by refreshments in the Parish Centre. Lifts to and from church are also avaliable.
Every first Thursday at 3:00 PM for 40 minutes
